You could adopt some radical new changes to the way that you look
and act this year. How people perceive you will be very different
than in years past. There could be some new responsibilities concerning
family members, but these will also provide an excellent learning
opportunity. For reasons possibly beyond your control, you may lose
some old friends this year but will no doubt gain some new ones as
well. You could be in for a surge of romantic activity toward the
middle to end of the Northern Hemisphere's summer. Get ready for the
summer to sizzle, Water Bearer!
This year, you may see a pull between home and career. If you really
want to achieve your professional goals, you may have to work at them
at the expense of your home life. This is especially true in May.
September, October and November are the months of the year when you
are most likely to get ahead at work. There is a great possibility
that the position you have been seeking will finally be available
to you. Be sure not to slack off at the end of the year. It is important
that you continue to put in a full day and exert extra effort. You
wouldn't want to miss your chance, now would you?
You might be pretty self-involved this year. While it's fine to have
a me-first attitude sometimes, don't expect that your partner will
always be okay with it. If you feel like receiving more than giving,
you may not always get what you want. At the start of the year, a
romantic influence comes into your life like a breath of freshly cut
flowers. Don't let your hormones get too revved up, since there will
be more heart-to-heart action before two sets of lips actually come
together. You may have a difficult time expressing your feelings at
the end of August and early September, but keeping your thoughts to
yourself could get you into hot water. Speaking of heat, October will
be a month of heightened passions, but try not to strive for perfection
when perfection does not have to exist.
At the start of the new millennium, you may be in the market for love.
You don't limit your interaction to simply browsing, however; you're
determined and will chase down what you want. Venus, the Planet of
Love, moves into your own sign from mid-February through mid-March.
You won't need to bother too much with your looks at this time, as
others will find you drop dead gorgeous regardless of your attire.
In May, Mars, the Planet of Passion, moves into your sector of romance.
You'll get what you want when you want it, but only if you go after
it. If you're unattached, you can look forward to a busy time in July,
when Jupiter, the Planet of Good Luck, makes promising aspects. The
phone may ring incessantly, and you will have to decide whom to go
out with on which night. That's what personal organizers and appointment
books are for! You'll want to make sure to keep your social calendar
in good order, because this phase of good fortune stays around for
the next 12 months. Lucky you! If committed, you keep yourself busy
during this time by rekindling the current romantic flames. Be advised
that August and September are good months to consider making a long-term
commitment in a relationship.
Proceed with caution at the start of the year, especially if you are
a Water Bearer born in January. Cloudy vision could affect your financial
affairs. What you think you own, you owe or are due, may not really
be the case. Look over contracts and bank statements at least twice
just to be sure there are no mistakes. In August, you will need to
be a little tight when it comes to buying those superfluous things
on which you have had your eye. In September, money might come your
way. If you are quick to spend it, you will have to be quick to pay
the bills that follow in October.
Family is on your mind this year. Your clan could provide some great
opportunities, potentially teaching you something philosophical. Don't
let your stubbornness get in the way of learning things that can change
the way you think about the world around you. There are added familial
responsibilities this year, particularly in the first couple of weeks
of the new millennium. Early May could be a pivotal time for you and
yours when the planets are aligned in your sector of home and family.
Starting the new year with good and dependable friends will help you
realize who you are, Aquarius. You may experience a rebirth in friendships
this year. Old friends could let you down, and communication may not
come easily. If you continue to try to make the friendships work,
you may find yourself disappointed. It might be better to cut the
ties and move on. As Aquarius is the sign of friendship, you'll always
have many friends. Cutting the ties to old friendships will pave the
way for new and more meaningful friendships, particularly if you are
