The magic of romance swirls around you this year. Unexpected changes
are bound to take place, so try to distinguish your daydreams from
reality. Finances look promising, although there is much hard work
that goes along with any bonuses that might come your way. July provides
a good time for travel. The millennium starts out with health and
fitness on your mind; you might really hold true to your New Year's
resolutions about exercising more, eating less sugar, drinking less
caffeine and the like. A sibling might have something to teach you
this year and it's up to you to take advantage of lessons learned.
You should expect the unexpected when it comes to love in 2000. Promises
may be changed or broken, so don't set your heart too quickly on somebody.
People may not always be who they seem or who you had hoped them to
be. Venus, the Planet of Love, moves into your sector of love in mid-February
and stays through until mid-March. Relationships that blossom during
this time have a good chance of lasting. If you are a September-born
Libra, when it comes to romance, take off the rose-colored glasses
you always seem to wear and get yourself some specs that tell it like
it is. If a new relationship seems too good to be true, maybe it actually
is. A little research is advised before you make any long-term commitment.
This is especially true from May until October, when Neptune, the
Planet of Fantasy, is traveling retrograde. Venus comes around into
your sector of love again in December, so you can look forward to
another opportunity to breathe in romance at the end of the year.
You'll need to put hard work in to get hard cash out. There may be
some strings attached, so be sure you figure out a working situation
before you put in the long hours. What may seem like a windy road
to reach the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is really a direct
highway -- you just have to stick with it and know that there will
eventually be rewards aplenty. Things ease up financially from July
through September, but this certainly does not mean you can randomly
spend money on glittery trinkets that strike your fancy. Perhaps in
October, when finances settle a little, you can treat yourself to
something special. At the end of the year, you'll have to be responsible
for many financial matters.
If you're a Libra working in a creative career, you can expect an
interesting year in that aspect of your life. Now is the time to make
your dreams a reality -- go after what you enjoy doing, rather than
what you know will earn you a paycheck. In June and July, small benefits
start to materialize. Things get pleasant at the office, and you feel
highly regarded when people start coming to you for answers. Your
energy is up and you initiate many projects. From April through the
end of the year, you may have a sudden realization about your career.
This is a destiny point and it's traveling through your career house.
If you are ever going to have a moment of clarity about what you want
to do with the rest of your life, this could be it.
Spontaneity and sex don't mix well together this year. With sex comes
responsibility, and you prefer to keep reality in the closet. Careful
planning will produce the fun, passion and pleasure you're really
seeking since intimacy comes from long-term commitment. The more time
and effort you give to someone, the more satisfying the ensuing relationship
and all its sensual pleasures will be. If you're single, you're a
veritable magnet from February thorough June. You'll get everything
you want with a minimum of effort and a bat of your eyelashes. A little
flirting will go a long way, so keep track of how many objects of
affection you're batting at.
Celebrating with family is the best way to start off the millennium.
In January and February you may receive news from a family member
you have not heard from in a long time. Venus, the Planet of Love,
is in your sector of family during this time, so home is where the
heart is and where you'll feel most comfortable. Family security becomes
especially important to you this year -- especially if you have siblings.
They might find their situations have changed and could seek your
support and advice. Whether or not you feel they are right in their
judgment, make sure you are there to offer support. October through
November is also an important family time for you.
Love and sexual relationships may be occupying much of the space in
your brain this year, so try not to forget about your platonic friends.
If you can find the time to call your friends between hot dates, so
much the better. Friends become especially important in July, August
and September. During this time, you will remember how important they
are to you -- don't hesitate to show your affections for others. Let
your friends know how much they mean to you. If you have a tendency
to be a fair-weather friend, be sure to show your sunny side when
the clouds are not around. |
