Your relationships can be powerful and passionate this year (just
the way you like things) -- not a bad way to start the millennium.
Single? You may find yourself making long-term commitments. Attached?
You'll be able to renew your relationship. There will be changes in
your family dynamics this year, including a possible change of residence.
In the second half of the year, good fortune will come your way when
it comes to shared resources. Try not to be an overachiever. Stick
within your boundaries and you'll find greater success.
The millennium begins with you chasing down the object of your desire,
and being the tenacious Scorpion that you are, you aren't giving up
any time soon. Romance is all you can think about at the start of
the year, and your heart stays focused through April when Venus, the
Planet of Love, moves into your sector of love. During May, many of
the planets are aligned in your sector of partnership, creating a
pivotal time for you. Try not to be too stuck in your opinions. Be
flexible in your relationships or no one will get what they want.
In September as well as October, Venus is in your own sign. More often
than not, your fantasies and desires will come true when you participate
in games of love and romance. There are great possibilities for fun
in temporary relationships at this time.
During May, there is a planetary alignment in your opposite sign.
This will be an interesting time to take stock of your possessions.
If you're not happy with what you have, do something about it. The
more creative you can be in getting what you want, the better. Take
action to increase your holdings. Learn about investing, maybe by
joining an investment group. In July, Jupiter, the Planet of Good
Luck and Fortune, moves into your sector of shared resources. Pooling
your resources will provide better results for you this year. Those
with whom you choose to work will find you to be a lucky charm.
You may find yourself making decisions between the your career and
your home life this year. If extra time must be spent on one, then
the other could suffer. July, August and September look especially
good professionally for you, Scorp. New ideas come your way and you're
able to make them profitable. Perks and bonuses are plentiful. August
is a good time to speak up and ask for what you want, and you of all
people should have no problem with that. Toward the end of the year,
you're able to influence your coworkers. You may even take on a leadership
position without having to ask for it.
Scorpio gets a bad rap because it is the sign of sex. This year, particularly
in May, many of the planets align in your opposite sign, Taurus. Just
as Scorpio comes complete with innate sexual connotations, Taurus
is the sign of sensuality, so this promises to be a passionate year
for you, Scorp. You can expect more sincerity and ardor in the bedroom.
There could be a lot of flirting, but little physical action around
September through October, possibly because you're too busy with work
and family matters to work your magic. The year 2000 ends with Mars,
the Planet of Passion, in your sign, adding fire to an already hot
year.
There could be some changes in the family dynamic this year. Family
secrets could be revealed to Scorps born in October. Be prepared to
mind your own p's and q's and not mess with it if you don't need to
be involved. The first three months of the year should be full of
pleasant times spent with the family. If you are able to host a family
reunion, don't hesitate to jump at the opportunity. Don't worry, as
others will chime in and help out. The rewards that come with getting
everyone together are immeasurable. May through October is not a good
time to deal with family issues. Don't attempt to settle matters over
the phone. Make plans to see relatives face-to-face.
You're better friends with people who can keep secrets. This often
means that you're close to other Scorpios. When friends do you wrong,
watch out! Try to learn to forgive this year, Scorp. When your love
life heats up, you may end up putting your friends out in the cold.
Try to create a good balance. The best times to hang out with the
gang are at the end of the Northern Hemisphere's summer. You may be
happily surprised when you hear from a long- lost friend around this
time. Be a leader and initiate activities with friends in October.
